For 2019, Talkies is keeping tickets to regular events at £6.50 – the same price for three years running. Your ticket also includes the booking fee, so no extras to pay!
Where does the money go?
Talkies is run by volunteers who don’t get paid. Most of your ticket money pays for overheads – licenses to screen films, venue hire, insurances and so on. A small amount ensures we maintain equipment to a good standard and the rest we use for new projects – such as supporting young film makers to create new films through our commissions, or holding interesting film events to bring together local communities.
