Hi – I am Surayya Johar, one of Talkies volunteers. Recently I have been helping out with organising the shoots for Talkies short film commissions.
I am now helping Talkies bring to the attention of its audience the catalogue of short films commissioned by Channel 4 – ‘Random Acts’. I will be selecting a short film from this collection to screen before some of our future films.
Random Acts is Channel 4’s short film strand dedicated to the arts, founded in 2011 to escape the conventions of arts broadcasting and to expand its possibilities.If you want to look at some of the Random Acts videos check them out here.
