The Enchanted Cinema’s ambitious new project spans the revolutionary decade of the 1920s and features some of its most daring and innovative film-makers whose experiments in cinema-craft shaped everything to follow, from horror to Hitchcock to sci-fi.
Featuring a mind-blowing selection of scenes from the work of Lotte Reineger (The Adventures of Prince Achmed), Fritz Lang (Metropolis), Walter Ruttman (Opus II), F W Murnau (Nosferatu )and Robert Wiene (The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari)
Each excerpt has its own original score written and performed live by The Enchanted Cinema.
