Have you ever thought about all the snippets of conversation a taxi driver witnesses in a day? ‘Where To?’ takes us into that world, as a local cabbie experiences one moment in dozens of different lives, whether joyful, painful, horrific or hilarious. He navigates the usual and the unusual – the rude, the drunk, the endlessly chatty, the naughty pets, the break-ups and make-ups. Through all those trivial & life changing exchanges that make up a tapestry of life, he comes to a realisation about his own.
ABOUT THE FILMMAKER
Jill is a BAFTA nominated documentary director. Her first fiction short film as a writer ‘Fred Gets Feedback’, was produced by BBC Writers room and won a Rose D’Or, and her latest comedy ‘Choked Up’ is on the festival circuit, screening at multiple BAFTA & BIFA qualifying festivals.
Adam started his career in NYC on Noah Baumbach’s The Squid and The Whale, before becoming Head of Production at Agile Films, then setting up his own production company ‘Bru’. He has exec produced and produced many short films, working with high profile talent like Angelica Huston and Maxine Peake.
Steph is making the move into producing after a decade of working in the industry as an actor. She has produced and written her own shorts, including the award winning ‘Out Of View’, that sought to raise awareness of the rise of domestic abuse during the pandemic.
