WHO AM I?

WED 30 NOV

A thought provoking, entertaining evening of Short Films.

The programme explores the deep routed human desire for acceptance. The icing on this delicious cinematic cake will be the premiere screening of our latest Talkies Commission, Another Man, written and directed by local young film maker Artemis Szekir-Rigas who will be there on the evening for a Q&A. You may have seen Artemis’ previous documentary at our Bowie night in April, earlier this year .

Curated by Short Sighted Cinema, the programme touches on a wide range of stories, from what it is to be a girl who likes to play football with the boys, through an insight into growing up in an orthodox Jewish family and amongst other great short films, a touching story about  being a black father.

The event is at The Fox in Palmers Green N13, a much loved Talkies venue that is on the verge of major changes in 2017.
